April Meetings have moved from the Ironton City Center to the Ironton Elk's, site of our reunion. Thanks Chuck for the great welcome!!
Sunday, April 25 - The committee met at 2:00 p.m.; those attending were Julie Parnell Kriebel, Liz Hock Clark, Howard Miller, Maurita Boyle Stanley, Patti Kelley, Densie Snell Riley, Suzie Layne Keller; via texting were: Kelli Vanderpool Lutz & Christi Vanderpool -- in Kelli's mom's attic going through memorabilia!!! (Now that's dedication!!)
Becky Stewart for IHS Band Boosters, confirmed that the Ironton Band Boosters will host the concession stand on Friday night during the mixer. Becky told the committe of the new retro-uniforms that the band has ordered and are currently raising funds. The Boosters are asking for sponsors for the new uniforms, which cost $550/per uniform. Anyone, or any group, sponsoring a uniform will have a tag inside the uniform recognizing their contribution. PLEASE consider this sponsorship.
Mark & Darlene Rutledge for Frog Town & Peddler's Home Cooking. A generous donation from Mark & Darlene was received on behalf of their establishments, Frog Town and Peddler's Home Cooking.
Further discussion of the menu for Saturday night: menu to be posted. Table decorations were discussed and day/time for decorations was confirmed to begin Wednesday, May 26.
FACULTY & STAFF from the 1970s: Those deceased will be part of the Memorial. Those still kickin' are welcomed as the guests of our reunion. Please invite a teacher, principal, cook, custodian, bus driver if you see them!!

Mix & Mingle with classmates while listening to music from the 70s. Tours- participate in group tours of the new high school building. During this part of the reunion, the IHS Band Boosters will sale concessions. The concession food will include all of the Friday night ball game favorites & those famous peanut butter bars!
Pub Crawl - 8:00 - Midnight - Enjoy reminiscing with classmates visiting local taverns beginning at Shennanigans,owner/alum Howie Dickess will be waiting to see you. Just a few doors down you'll be greeted at Frog Town, by owner/alum Mark & Darlene Rutledge and their brand new band stand and restrooms. Work your way down Third Street to The Auger Inn (please don't stager out). Down the street stop in the K of C, where many of our St. Joe alumni will be celebrating their annual Charity Fair with Casino Night. Further down Third Street you'll find "Boomers" a new establishment owned by Ironton alum Gary Gilmore. Then onto the old Anderson's Pizza Pub site which now hosts a new building, The End Zone, proprietor, another alum Ann Fields. Moving on to the other end of Ironton, in Hanging Rock we will end the evening at The Laidback. The Laidback too is an alumni owner bar/restaurant. Kim Whitt and her brothers Rod & Bobby & sister Dianna will be waiting to see you. At the last stop we will draw for prizes from local merchants.
PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY AND HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER!!!!!!! (We're too old for excuses!) We are fortunate to have a DD taxi available with a discounted rate for those who have enjoyed themselves way too much! REMEMBER, friends (and alumni) don't let frieinds drive drunk.
